-=NB is back in business=-

Hey all, as you might have guessed there is a serious progress going on in NB the last few weeks and some drastic changes have taken place. One of the many is the addition of a new AI coder in the NB dev team, Sai ( you'll love this guy:p ) who is now in charge of the thief bots AI. So, that leaves me with the guard AI. There's also a third team/type of player, as you might have heard, that will also need coding. But things are generally going ok and the bots are kicking asses alright. More news from Sai himself as soon as he gets a working journal. Talk to you soon.

"The curtains were drawn, the carpet thick and soft - the whole impression was cosy, old fashioned, as of a nest lived in by people much older than myself. I swept up the silver dressing set. There was a case of jewels on top of the chest of drawers with rings, earrings, chains and brooches all caught together, a knot of treasure. That went straight into the bag.
There was an impression of silence, of space, of a thick pressing darkness that - even though pierced by me a moment before - was already settling back all around. Somewhere there was a tick of a clock, counting time at a muck slower beat than once a second, or so it seemed. I felt the empty house with my nerve ends: old stone surrounding an atmosphere that asked, politely, that I disrupt it as little as possible, even if I was a thief.
I didn't know how long I'd been in there. I'd lost all track of time. I had to fight against this feeling, the wonderful strangeness of being in a place so familiar in some ways, so like home, yet so utterly strange, as if I'd walked straight into a fairy-tale."

Of course I didn't write this but it seems so appropriate for NB;). I'm practically done with my exams(finally!) so back to work now:) I'm also going to get a broadband connection soon, I hope ,so it'll be more easy too sync with the current version now. CU all later...

After some attempts of making a decent shuriken model with 3ds max I ended up with these models:

But I kinda prefer Cythe's one:p...

I made most of the code for it, just a few tweaks to go.
I think other throwing stuff might be included too:)

What's new?

Ok let's see now. AIs should be more fun, more easy and more clever by now but still need work.

Arena code is full of bugs at the moment but I'll work it over. I've also made some movers(for those of you that are into uediting) that damage you when they hit you with high velocity.
I used that on my arena test map. I specifically added a giant hammer that swings around and smashes you if it hits you. If all goes well i'll fill the arena with lots of traps and dangerous movers^^.

Hi there:) English is a foreign language to me too, so bear with me! I'm generally writing code, but if I have to(like I did now) I make some small test maps and static meshes.

OK, I'm primarilly working on AI(bots, civilians) but I'm also doing code for Arena gametype and some crazy mutators:D
